After completing the renovations on the Badgers' Primary School, CHA began work on renovating their existing band hall. The first step of the band Hall renovations was to completely gut the original band hall, which included removal of existing light fixtures, HVAC systems, toilet rooms, as well as stripping clean the existing practice rooms, trophy cases, offices, and uniform storage rooms.
One of the biggest improvements for the band hall came by rotating the band hall layout 180 degrees to improve acoustics and its functional layout. New, high efficiency lights, and HVAC systems as well as additional power were added to the band hall to improve its overall efficiency. Some of the new spaces added to the band hall include ADA compliant toilet rooms, Director and Assistant Directors’ offices, a new entry vestibule, a new percussion practice room, and a covered outdoor loading and unloading area. A new roof and roof access were also included in this project.
