This isn’t your average metal building. You can look at the pictures and see how small the truck looks in comparison. It spans 104 feet wide, 743’ feet long and is 36 feet tall. PYCO Industries is the largest cottonseed cooperative serving the southern United States with over 60 Member Gins. When contacting CHA to design this massive structure, PYCO’s VP of Operations, Lewis Harvill shared his vision and CHA made it into reality.
The completed building will house 24 dying blowers, 28 delinting seed separators, 3 staff toilets along with break areas, two offices and 4 electrical control rooms.
Construction of the building is about $5,300,000; total project is estimated to be $28,000,000 with installed equipment.
